The Opportunity
We're looking for a highly detailed, service-oriented Guest Operations Specialist to uphold Furnished Quarters' cleanliness and appearance standards in our apartments. This role is essential in creating perfect living environments for our guests by conducting thorough inspections, testing equipment functionality, and ensuring all units meet our exacting design standards. You'll collaborate with housekeeping vendors, building maintenance teams, and internal departments to transform spaces into exceptional temporary homes.

What You’ll Do
Conduct thorough cleanliness inspections and ensure furniture placement according to Furnished Quarters' Design and Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures
Work with housekeeping vendors to maintain cleanliness standards, inspecting their work and reporting any deficiencies
- Perform general preventative maintenance and minor repairs in apartments including touch-up painting, furniture adjustments, and surface treatments
- Troubleshoot and resolve WiFi, cable, and equipment issues to ensure seamless technological experiences
Conduct inventory of warehouse supplies and guest amenities, maintaining appropriate par levels
Build and maintain positive relationships with building staff (superintendents, maintenance teams, concierge, door attendants)
- Update cases in Salesforce with detailed information using hand-held tablets
- Travel to multiple apartment locations throughout the workday using public transportation
Participate in the rotational after-hours, weekend/overnight on-call program for guest emergencies
- Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys, and supplies to protect company and guest property
What You Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
1-2 years of housekeeping or operations experience in the hospitality industry
Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate hand-held tablets
Knowledge of general cleaning principles, products, and equipment
Ability to travel on public transportation to multiple work locations throughout the day
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
A professional appearance and friendly, service-oriented attitude
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and carry up to 50 pounds
Additional Details
- This is a full-time, in-person role in our New York office
On-call participation is required, including some evenings and weekends
The role requires sitting, standing, walking, and using a computer for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
Compensation
Hourly rate based on experience. Please include your desired hourly rate in your application.
