Job Summary

As a member of the Furnished Quarters Technology team, the Salesforce Administrator is responsible for building, testing and maintaining new and existing custom applications on the Salesforce platform and other related applications. This individual will interface with employees in the Technology, Marketing,  Sales, Operations, and Client Service groups. This individual will also need to interface with others cross-functionally through the company as needed. You will be responsible for developing and executing our Salesforce strategy and roadmap as well as a subject matter expert and internal champion for Salesforce. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and Technology end-users to manage existing Salesforce application and ancillary systems.
  • Provide daily administration and support of Salesforce database including but not limited to managing user setup, profiles, and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types and page layouts.
  • Customize Salesforce setup to align with business and sales processes.
  • Train, consult, educate and communicate knowledge of the applications, system tools and processes to all new and existing employees.
  • Perform regular data uploads, data maintenance, and cleaning activities.
  • Create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation rules, and approval processes.
  • Manage Salesforce helpdesk in providing application users with technical support, tracking resolution progress.
  • Design and create customized Sales reports and dashboards that drive informed business decisions.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help-related materials for super-users and end-users.
  • Lead major and minor releases for the company, including release cycle testing, end user feature training, and overall corporate communication.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities/deadlines including the ability to multi-task and juggle many competing priorities.
  • Evaluate new technology and tools that improve company processes and practices.
  • Continually seek ways to further enhance the end-user experience.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective data architecture across custom applications.
  • Strong understanding of Sales methodologies, processes, common challenges and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze and understand the existing complex custom Salesforce setup, propose options for streamlining existing workflows.
  • Able to handle change requests.
  • Ability to architect and implement complex Salesforce custom solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent business judgment.
  • High-level understanding of advanced analysis, reporting, formatting, data manipulation, and presentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Salesforce CRM development with and apex experience a plus.
  • BA or BS degree required.
