Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, secure new client relationships, and expand our market presence. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and brings a proven ability to meet and exceed revenue goals. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing a dynamic pipeline, and building strategic partnerships that contribute to the company’s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet personal revenue, occupancy, and RevPAR goals

  • Conduct 100+ monthly outreach activities (calls, emails, virtual meetings, LinkedIn)

  • Secure at least 6 new client accounts per quarter (new or dormant/reactivated)

  • Schedule and complete a minimum of 5 client appointments per month

  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Coordinators to align on account strategy

  • Manage and maintain accurate pipeline activity in Salesforce

  • Lead proposals, pricing conversations, and client negotiations to close deals

  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with assigned clients and gather feedback

  • Represent Furnished Quarters at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of 7 years of outside sales experience in corporate housing, hospitality, or a related industry

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

  • Entrepreneurial and adaptable mindset with a strong work ethic

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Salesforce experience preferred

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional demeanor and a client-focused attitude
